The principal company has extended us the sales and
distribution rights in DRC Congo, Malawi and Mozambique.
Post such rights, we have started exports from Zimbabwe
to some of these countries to make Zimbabwe production
hub for there Southern African Countries.
INVESTMENTS
The Company has already invested more than USD 90 to
100 Million through direct foreign investment in building
up infrastructure and working capital. The Company has
also ploughed back profits in expansion of the project.
The Company is planning to further invest USD 20 million
in 2023 on few other projects to diversify.
The company has changed the retail landscape by
investing in Pepsi pushcarts and has created employment
for approx. 7000 families. These pushcarts are provided
with free Ice everyday by Varun Beverages route trucks
in Harare.
Varun Beverages is awarded the Best National Marketing
Oriented CEO of the Year 2022 by Marketers Association
of Zimbabwe.
The Manufacturing Facility is Situated in Stand number
1824 Cnr Simon Mazorodze and St George’s Way Harare
with branches across Zimbabwe. The company has
distribution network in Malawi and Mozambique.
Varun Beverage Zimbabwe Pvt. Limited also has a
Manufacturing facility in Lusaka industrial Area.
The group plans to set up a plant in DRC which will be
manufacturing locally and distributing to its neighboring
countries. The factory will start operation by the end
of this year 2023.
