Shake solutions in partnership with Techpearl Girl Up visited Magawa Secondary School and Chiwoshya (Chinteka) Community Secondary School for a career talk under the theme of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
STEM was introduced in order to remove the mindset that most girls have about science subjects. This career talk emphasis was to prove wrong the negative mindset by introducing the girls to other ladies who have made in STEM programs as a reference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why did Shake Solutions take part?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Shake Solution being an ICT company our main focus is not on making profits, for shake the society matters and believes that we can make a positive change by giving out something to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As said by Michelle Obama \u201cno country can flourish if it stifles the potential of its women and deprives itself of the contributions of half of its citizens\u201d, Shake Solutions in line with Obama believes that when a girl child has been empowered she can build a better life, home and country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
What is Tech Pearl \u2013 Girl up?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Tech Pearl is a social enterprise which is on a mission of unlocking digital skills for women and girls in Malawi.
